Attorney Theresa Freeman has a wealth of experience in dealing with issues related to employees injured in the workplace. As a college student, she worked for a mining company in northern Minnesota, similar to the one depicted in the movie North Country. Theresa Freeman later worked for the Minnesota Human Rights Department and the Hennepin County Attorney’s office. She has served as an officer and board member for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Organization for Women and as a member of the Minnesota Chapter’s Legal Defense and Education Fund. Theresa Freeman is a licensed practicing lawyer in the state of Minnesota with more than twenty-three years experience. Her experience as a lawyer includes: staff attorney in the civil division of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and over twenty years as Neff Law Firm, P.A.’s, Managing Attorney. As a lawyer, Theresa Freeman has extensive successful experience handling litigation in state and federal court. Among the prominent entities that Theresa Freeman has represented as a lawyer include members of the Minnesota Peace Officers Association and a branch of a large international church. Theresa Freeman has, as a lawyer working at Neff Law Firm, P.A., represented union members from a wide range of unions including, but not limited to, United Steel Workers, United Auto Workers, Teamsters, Association of Federal State County Municipal Employees, American Federation of Teachers, Minnesota Education Association, International Association of Machinists, Airline Pilots Association, Nurses Union, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Minnesota Association of Professional Employees and United Food and Commercial Workers.
